Holicki Eye Centers and Optical is seeking a full-time, medically trained Optometrist to join our patient-centered team of doctors. We are a busy, 3-location, ophthalmologist-owned private practice located in Coldwater MI, Sturgis MI, and Angola IN. This picturesque tri-county area offers a small-town atmosphere, great schools, a lake around every corner and a community of fellowship. Located only 30 minutes away from metro city shopping and other amenities in areas like Lansing, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Ft Wayne.
Our optical dispensaries and clinics are staffed by highly trained, certified, and caring opticians and technicians that focus on quality, accuracy, and patient care. We are equipped with the latest in technology for patient exams as well as a progressive and proficient EMR system.
Optometrist Duties
-
Perform Comprehensive Medical, Vision Exams and Post-operative care to patients

Prescribe glasses and contact lenses
-
Follow coding guidelines as set forth by Medicare
-
Initiate and Utilize new strategies for patient care (i.e Myopia control)

Diagnose, Treat and Educate Patients
-
Community Outreach and Staff Education as needed

Proficient use of EMR system and thorough documentation of patient exams

Follow MIPS and other government requirements

Eye Emergencies
Requirements
-
Doctor of Optometry degree
-
Licensed in Michigan and / or Indiana with intention to gain licensure in both
