Dr. Joseph P. Holicki, D.O., is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma management and treatment, no-stitch cataract surgery, age-related macular degeneration, diagnosing and treating ocular manifestations of diabetes, refractive surgery, ophthalmic plastic surgery, pediatric eye conditions, and other eye disorders. He is the founder of Holicki Eye Centers, established in 1994. Originally from Flint, MI, Dr. Holicki relocated to Coldwater over 20 years ago to raise his family and open his practice. To better serve the communities, he also opened practices in Sturgis, MI, and Angola, IN.

Dr. Holicki is a laser-certified ophthalmologist and was the first ophthalmologist in Michigan to perform LASEK vision correction surgery as well as other innovative types of refractive surgery. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and completed his residency in ophthalmology through the Detroit Osteopathic Consortium of Ophthalmology in affiliation with Michigan State University.

Dr. Holicki strives to keep his patients informed of the latest ophthalmic advances. He frequently lectures and routinely trains resident physicians. He is a member of The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, The American Osteopathic Association, and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Holicki has a passion for the eye and a love and passion for people.

Dr. Cameron Holicki, D.O., is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, medical retina, neuro-ophthalmic disease, and oculoplastic procedures. He grew up in Coldwater and is excited to be back in his hometown to work with his father, Dr. Joseph Holicki, D.O., as well as with his wife, Dr. Madeleine McBain-Holicki, O.D.

Dr. Cameron Holicki obtained his undergraduate and medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency training at Kettering Health Network in Dayton, Ohio, where he was awarded The Patrick Murray Award, given annually to the ophthalmology resident with the highest board exam score in the country. He also completed a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Christian Ophthalmology Society.

Outside of work, Dr. Holicki enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time on Coldwater Lake with his family and friends.

Dr. Lisa Chaudhari, O.D., is a native of Northeast Indiana and a licensed and certified optometrist in both Indiana and Michigan. Dr. Chaudhari earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated with honors from Indiana University. She then obtained her optometric degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry (IUSO). During her time at IUSO, Dr. Chaudhari was a member of the National Optometric Student Association, where she participated in local health fairs and provided eye care to the uninsured.

Dr. Chaudhari is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association. She provides eye care for the entire family and specializes in ocular disease, binocular vision, and the fitting of contact lenses. When she is not taking care of her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, swimming, and reading.

Dr. Chaudhari prides herself on providing the best and most comprehensive eye care to the people in our tri-county area.

Dr. Matthew Decker, O.D., F.A.A.O., is from Adrian, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Pre-Medicine at Indiana Wesleyan University and obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2016. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2018. In 2021, he completed a residency in Ocular Disease through The Ohio State University School of Optometry at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Dr. Decker has extensive experience in treating and managing ocular disease, fitting contact lenses, and providing comprehensive eye examinations. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Decker is also a U.S. Navy veteran. He spent seven years serving in the United States Navy as an active duty Navy optometrist, working primarily with the aviation and submarine communities. He practiced across three different states and aboard the USNS Comfort, providing disaster relief efforts in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. He counts it as a privilege to have served his country but is happy to now be closer to home in Michigan.

When not in the clinic, Dr. Decker especially enjoys playing and listening to music, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and three young children.

Dr. Madeleine McBain-Holicki, O.D., is from Jackson, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She is a member of both the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. McBain-Holicki practiced for several years in Cincinnati before moving back to Michigan with her husband, Dr. Cameron Holicki, where they joined Holicki Eye Center.

Dr. McBain-Holicki believes in a personalized approach to vision correction. She sees patients of all ages for routine vision care, including glasses and contact lenses, as well as management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family in Northern Michigan, gardening, and paddle boarding with her husband and their pup, Oliver.

Melinda Peiserich, PA-C, is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant (PA) in both Indiana and Michigan. She graduated with top honors from Trine University’s Inaugural Master of Physician Assistant Studies class.

Melinda was a student under Dr. Holicki during PA School, where she discovered her passion for Ophthalmology. Prior to joining Holicki Eye Centers, she worked as a Trauma Surgery PA at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

Melinda transitioned to medicine after a long career as a medical device engineer. In addition to her graduate degree, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering and a German Technical Translation Certificate.

Melinda specializes in comprehensive medical eye exams, including the diagnosis and treatment of ocular manifestations of diabetes, glaucoma, dry eye disease, and macular degeneration. She is also available for emergencies. She focuses on patient care and education, aiming to care for her patients' eyes and vision throughout their lives. Melinda is passionate about helping her patients restore and maintain their sight while treating the whole person.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants. Melinda resides in Northeast Indiana with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling (especially to places with mountains!), cooking, crafting, hiking, and gardening. She is excited to join the caring team at Holicki Eye Centers and serve patients in the tri-county area.
